USPA NEWS - 46,000 Schools Revamped Under Nadu-Nedu

Andhra Pradesh Minister Botsa Satyanarayana stated in the Legislative Council that CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is dedicated to placing the state's universities among the country's top 100. He highlighted the progress of Nadu-Nedu initiative, renovating 46,000 schools with an ongoing second phase. Minister Satyanarayana emphasized transparent procurement of educational tablets, clarifying no payments to Byju's, underscoring the government's commitment to education reforms and quality learning.
At the Legislative Council today, Andhra Pradesh's Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Botsa Satyanarayana, highlighted the state government's efforts to elevate Andhra Pradesh universities into the prestigious list of the country's top 100 universities. He conveyed that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is actively pursuing measures to enhance the quality and standing of higher education institutions within the state.

Minister Satyanarayana stressed the necessity of subject teachers from the third grade onwards, underlining the government's commitment to bolstering educational foundations at an early age. He applauded the Nadu-Nedu initiative, which has seen the transformation of 46,000 schools across the state. The initiative is presently progressing through its second phase, seeking to modernize even single-teacher schools.
Minister Satyanarayana also emphasized the importance of educational content on tablets distributed to students, ensuring that the information provided is exclusively related to education. He also revealed the state's collaboration with educational platforms like Byju's, clarifying that the government has not made any payments to them. The procurement of these tablets was conducted transparently through established tender process.

The Minister also expressed concern about inaccurate reporting in certain newspapers regarding the educational content, urging for accurate and responsible journalism. He also said that 3,282 university posts are vacant in the state.
