USPA NEWS - More than 10000 deaths in France, timid slowdown of the epidemic. France has counted 10,228 people who have died from COVID-19 since the start of the epidemic. This represents 1,427 additional death in hospital deaths in the last past 24 hours. The General Director of Health has mentioned 19,337 people healed, reported since the begining of the COVID-19 pandemic, Excluding those who died and were discharged from hospital, 518 new resuscitation admissions have occurred in the past 24 hours. "Raw" figures which may appear to be increasing over the past few hours and which testify to a virus which is still particularly virulent in France. Jerome Salomon General Director of Ministry of Health announced that " We have not reached out the COVID-19 outbreak peak yet"

WE HAVE NOT REACHED THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK PEAK YET JEROME SALOMN STATED------------------------- Jerome Salomon, the Director General of Health Ministry, made his daily update, as usual, since the begging of the COVID-19 pandemic. He, communicated the latest assessment of the COVID-19 in France. Here are all the figures in detail (Updated on April 7 at 8:35 pm) 109,069 cases in total (Ehpad, Nursing Homes included), i.e. 11,059 more in 24 hours. 10,328 deaths in total, or 1,427 more in 24 hours (with the Ehpad Nursing Homes lifts). 30,000 hospitalizations in progress, or 305 more in 24 hours. 7,131 people in intensive care, 59 more in 24 hours. 7,091 hospital deaths, 607 more in 24 hours. 19,337 people healed, or 2,087 more in 24 hours. 30,902 cases in Ehpad, or 7,282 more in 24 hours. 3,237 deaths in Ehpad, or 820 more announced (daily partial increases in figures since March 1). (Updated on April 7 at 9:35 pm) These figures do not take into account deaths from COVID-19, at home, or those of disabled people who died in specialized centers. We apologize for having published figures since the start of the epidemic, without seeing any mention of these fatalities, as they are unavailable from French health authorities.\L´Inserm announces that it will test the effectiveness of transfusion of plasma from patients recovered from COVID-19, containing antibodies directed against the coronavirus, to patients suffering from COVID-19, in the hope of transferring this immunity. The clinical trial called Coviplasm is promoted by the AP-HP with the support of Inserm and the French Blood Establishment (EFS). Two Paris hospitals will test a solution from the blood of a sea worm with oxygenation capacities, by intravenous injection to a dozen patients with respiratory failure, Monday April 6.
